This poster introduces a practical, five-layer framework for designing Human-AI collaboration in enterprise environments. As artificial intelligence becomes embedded in enterprise SaaS platforms, the nature of UX work is expanding from human-system interaction to human-AI partnership. This shift demands new design methods that ensure human judgment is privileged over the capabilities of intelligent systems.
Drawing from 15 years of industry experience and academic grounding in Science and Technology Studies (STS), Sociotechnical Systems and Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), this poster demonstrates how to translate complex AI capabilities into responsible, human-centered experiences. It shows how workflow mapping, use-case scoping, human-agent interaction, data stewardship, and evaluation layers can work together to create shared agency between people and intelligent systems.
Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how to design enterprise interfaces where AI enhances, rather than replaces, human judgment.
