This poster presents a user-centered design study aimed at supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers through a self-management mobile application. The project explores how to simplify digital interactions for users with cognitive decline by identifying design gaps in existing tools. Through a literature review of recent research and a comparative analysis of leading health management apps, the study highlights the importance of reducing cognitive load, prioritizing essential features, and integrating emotional support functions. Attendees will gain practical insights into inclusive design strategies and user research methods that address accessibility challenges in cognitive health contexts.
