Jana Pantoja is a UX leader and neuroscientist who has devoted her career to research. She spent over a decade leading academic investigation of the electrophysiology of neural networks and its modulation by reward-stimuli associations and learning. In 2015, she made the leap into UX, leading research across a wide variety of domains, including real estate, insurance, e-commerce, and advertising. Jana is dedicated to advancing the UX community and has worked to establish several educational and professional programs while being part of the UXPA International board. Jana received her PhD from Duke University and currently is a Staff UX Researcher at Google.
